Abstract

Around 1510 Saint Anton of Suprasl embarked his pilgrimage to Mount Saint Athos with fervent attrition to sacrifice himself seeking God will remiss his sins committed by him earlier. At beginning he enstrenghted himself spiritually in a hermit called „Typikarnica” founded by Saint Sava Serb’s King in 1200. His martyrdom took place in 14 February 1516 in church which from 1430 was altered by Turks in a mosque.
