Information For Readers

Elpis is a peer-reviewed international interdisciplinary journal of the Department of Orthodox Theology at the University of Białystok. The journal publishes scientific articles, as well as reviews of scientific articles on theology, history and culture. The purpose of the journal is to publish modern Orthodox theology and to disseminate the achievements of theologians, religious scholars, historians and philologists in the field of their research on Orthodoxy.

 Elpis is a continuation of a journal edited by the Faculty of Orthodox Theology at the University of Warsaw, published in 1926-1939 under the same name. Since 1999, Elpis has been an annual of the Department of Orthodox Theology at the University of Białystok.
