Call for papers

The editors of the scholarly journal Elpis call for submissions of scholarly publications focusing on Orthodox theology, history and culture. The journal intends to promote contemporary Orthodox theology and to promote the achievements of theologians, religious scholars, historians and philologists in their research on Orthodoxy.

 

Elpis is indexed in international databases (e.g. ErihPlus, WorldCat, CEJSH, CEEOL, IndexCopernicus) and is included in the Ministry of Education and Science's list of scored journals (40 points theological sciences and biblical sciences).

 

As of 2023, the journal is published exclusively in electronic form.

The editors accept for publication scientific articles in Polish, English and Russian. Each article is subject to a review procedure by two independent external reviewers. The estimated waiting time for publication of an article is 12 weeks.
